Happy Friday beauties!

Today's post is about embracing all colour and letting the black fade from your wardrobe. I know the thought of it can be terrifying - especially when all the fall/winter 2012 shows make blacks and greys look so appealing. I've spent the last couple of weeks trying to stick to this challenge, and yes, I will admit it's tough but definitely totally worth it!

The first thing I added to my rotation was a pair of coloured skinny jeans.

My ideal outfit with this a pair of black wedge booties and a baggy black racerback topped with silver bangles and a chunky ring. It's a quick easy look that is still chic and still has a bit of an edge to it.

My next big buy was a pair of red platform wedges for summer. I was really hesitant to purchase a pair of these stunners because I wasn't sure how to pull them off. However, I was convinced by a girl I saw rocking a pair at Ottawa Fashion Week this past week (where I was covering the final night for FAJO Magazine). They are comfy as hell and provide a sleek alternative to stilettos in the summer.

If you can't bear the thought of wearing coloured jeans on your gams and the idea of a five inch heel doesn't get you as excited as I, you can always make a quick and easy change and pick up a coloured sheer blouse. With this, you can keep your black skinnies on and still embrace colour just in time for spring!

Happy Valentines day to all the lovers out there!

To the haters, please disregard this blog post, it's about to get mushy. I will just re-direct you here.

Gross couples everywhere have been waiting for this day. Roses and chocolates and dinner and all that other good stuff, of course. Have you been planning anything special?

One thing is for sure, if you're planning on hitting the town with your Valentine, you're going to want to make a reservation. But what else is there to do on V-day?

One of my personal favourites - eat in! Cook up something special for your boyfriend/girlfriend. Because being alone is so much better for when you really want to get gross. Even though it's Valentines day, not everyone appreciates the PDA. In fact, as a server, I know that many of my co-workers are dreading work that evening. Save the make out session for at home. Whether that means teasing when you're out, or not leaving the house at all.

Gentlemen, this is a perfect opportunity to do something nice for your sweetheart.

So some of you, even in couples, may think Valentines Day is a dumb, made up holiday. Which may be true. But lets not damper our day.

The best part of Valentines day? The lingerie, the sex, licking chocolate off of each other's stomachs? Yeah, just deal with it, it's well worth it.

For those of you feeling extra frisky, getting a hotel room for an evening to have a little play time is a good idea. Having roommates may also encourage this move. Because in a hotel room, you can be as loud as you like... for the most part anyway.

Other things to do when you've locked yourself in a hotel room with a hottie? Rent some porn and enjoy it shamelessly. Then maybe test out the moves? Just a thought for those of you feeling a little more playful than usual.

After all, it is V-day.

After spending over a month away from fashion and blogging, I'm back! Mel's already done a couple posts (I hear she's got quite the tips for V-Day!) and Sarah and I have been going through some things to get back on track as we're a little out of sorts after so much time away... I always forget how much happens in a month!

Fall/Winter fashion weeks, my absolute favourite time of year, just got started this morning with New York Fashion Week starting off the craziness of fashion month.

We'll be looking at it all - the trends, how to wear it and what you can do on a budget.

I'm also really looking forward to finding new designers for you lovelies to adore. I've seen some great talent and can't wait to share some insane lookbooks.

Tacky or tasteful? And would you buy these before getting your freak on, or stick to the trusty trojan brand? I mean, we know they make a solid handbag, but condoms?

As much as we can poke fun, I have to admit, it's pretty damn awesome. I sincerely hope these are included in the gift bags at awards shows.

Fantasy Football

Now that the Super Bowl is over, gentlemen, you can take off your NFL gear and get over your hangover. Your day of manliness - chugging beer, eating chicken wings, etc. - is over.

Time to get back to the other playing field, one that I would argue is a lot more fun...the bedroom. So I've got a quickie post for you. But pay attention boys, this stuff matters!

Treat her right, and don't ask for anything in return tonight. It's all about us ladies this evening, after all, last night was all about YOU.

Here are the steps you should take to make her forget about how gross you can be.

1. Dinner date.

Make her dinner - something special! And something you know she loves. And yes, make it from scratch, make it look nice, and light some candles while you're at it!

2. Bubble bath

Whether it's just for her or for the both of you, a bubble bath is always a winner in my books. Make sure you have some delicious scents, too.

3. Massage

After a nice hot bath, pull out the massage oil and creams. Lay her down, ass naked, and rub her down. We all know she deserves it, from head to toe!

4. Let her be the boss

Tonight, she chooses what you're gonna watch. It's only fair.

Valentines day for the single gal

Let's get over the ooey gooey romance before it goes too far.

Valentines day is fast approaching, and for those of you who loathe the hallmark holiday...I have something just for you!

Why does it suck being single on Valentines day?

Answer: IT DOESN'T!

You don't have to give in the cheesy romantic garbage that aims for the heart and the wallet. Who needs a reservation at that perfect restaurant? Who needs that perfect dress and the bouquet of roses?

It's time to reclaim that day as something new, something grand, and something delicious. Throw away that box of chocolates and those heart shaped candies. You deserve a girls night out, and the aim is to find something for yourself.

V-day for couples consists of the usual dinner and movie, etc, etc....

V-day for singles? Lets whip out the hot dresses and chardonnay. There are two options for you ladies out there.

Option one: Ladies night!

Hit the town with your favourite single ladies. Make sure you're all looking smoking hot, grab some martinis and hit the dance floor. Oh, and when those single dudes approach you looking for a night of romance...give 'em the shoulder. That's right, I said it.

Guys might think Valentines day brings out the romantic vibes, but that's not always true. If you want to have a night of clean (or maybe not so clean) fun with the gal pals, don't let any guy get in your way. Because sometimes, we just need a vacation from dudes.

Option two: On the prowl

Show them who's boss! Sex positivity is what I'm trying to shed light on here.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with going out with the intention of getting down. But don't ever settle for less then what you want. And I mean it. If you like what you see hear, and feel (merrrow) then go for it. If anything, I mean anything, puts you off, then there is nothing wrong with going home alone!

I'm sick of the same old same old - boy meets girl and sweeps her off her feet. We need a new fairy tale. How about you sweep someone off their feet? And if not, there is no shame in being happily single.

Moral of the story - Valentines day is for suckers. Don't get me wrong, I have some plans for V-day, but in all honesty, this so-called special day shouldn't make you feel lonely. Take the power back and don't let it get to you!

Designers to Watch in 2012 (un)

Good morning lovelies!

I know I was on hiatus for so long but I am back with a quick little series to start your new year off right. I mean, even though I didn't write doesn't mean that I blocked myself off from all things fashion. I spent many, many hours working and spent my breaks poring over magazines and sites. As a result of this ransacking, I have come out with a list of the designers that I think are destined for great things this year.

Rachel Sin

I have a really soft spot for this Toronto-based designer because she is just the sweetest person I've ever met. I interviewed this bubbly designer a few months ago for FAJO Magazine and just fell in love with her designs. The former architecture is all about structure and well built garments - a winning combination for any designer. Her specialty is found in her stunning caged back dresses with an exposed zipper, which really shows off her expert craftsmanship and her attention to detail.

Her Spring/Summer 2012 collection was to die for. I remember live tweeting about it at Ottawa Fashion Week and struggling because I COULD NOT take my eyes off the clothes.

I'm selfishly hoping she's back in Ottawa for the Fall/Winter 2012 shows, but if she's in Toronto, I will be making that trek out there.

With the entrance of a new year and a fresh slate, I am back again. I took the month of December of from blogging, as the month was a whirlwind of activities and new experiences. I am back now (I promise!) and will be blogging pretty regularly with Mel and Sarah. We have some really great ideas and are probably going to change the layout again. If you have any comments/suggestions/hates, let us know via the comments or in an email.

2012 is just around the corner, so I hope you have your best dresses picked out. It may be below zero but I think we can still create a little heat. I mostly mean between the sheets.

One of my favourite things about new years after the party dresses are the resolutions. Haven't we all gathered after the ball drops to whisper our plans, whether its hitting the gym or spending less on shoes (yeah, right). Sometimes a few are a bit out of reach but I have a couple of ideas that are definitely within reason if you are willing.

1. Get a little more va-va voom in the bedroom. For all of those in relationships, this is something that could take it to the next level. Don't get stuck in a rut. Spice it up if you haven't already. And the best part is you can start right when the clock strikes midnight. Fancy a kiss? Lay it on 'em and they'll be dying for more, and none of that "pecking" nonsense, I want PASSION! I want HEAT. If you're shy, get over it, a little PDA never killed anyone...I think.

2. Once the party ends you can really get to the good stuff. Happy new year sex, anyone? And share a little pillow-talk, too. Tell each other your new years resolutions. I must stress the importance of communication. If you want to become closer in the new year then you should consider some conversation following the whole ripping off each others clothes bit. I suggest a little truth or dare between the two of you. But avoid anything that may spark a fight! That would take the fun out of everything.

3. Invest in some sexy play time toys. Whether it's a barely there piece of lingerie or a vibrator, trying something new is always fun. I'm not recommending nipple clamps... unless you've reached that level, of course.

At the very least, try something new. Even just a new position can bring a whole lot of passion rushing back. So light some candles and get to it!

4. To my single people out there, let me just say, making a resolution to "get a boyfriend/girlfriend" is not a good one to go by. Enjoy single life while you have it, because telling yourself you NEED a partner is just ridiculous. You may also find yourself forcing relationships with people you don't even REALLY like. So a great resolution to go by is ENJOY life, let things happen, and if you meet the right person, that's a bonus. Forget about the ticking clock, instead, have some fun. Nothing wrong with a new years eve one night stand if you're up for it. We all need a little lovin' sometimes.

However, I can't stress the importance of independence. If you've had a rough year of dating, maybe 2012 will be a good time to take a break from it. As for the lack of sex, that is nothing a good vibrator can't fix. Focus on friendships this time around.

5. Be happy. I'm getting cheesy but starting the new year on the right foot is a good way to go. And if you're not happy, make a change. Whether its your relationship or you wardrobe.

Twas the night before Christmas...

It has finally arrived! Christmas eve...and when tomorrow's festivities followed by a hectic boxing day surpass, we will be one step closer to new years! But what to do until then, you ask?

I've been having trouble going outside lately, even if there is a lack of snow. It's still below zero and with that, I do not fare well! Instead I prefer movies, blankets, and white wine. If you're not a long distance lover like myself, then this is the perfect way to share this evening with someone special.

And when the family has subsided by the 27th or so...breakfast in bed, anyone?

In the meantime, spice up your holiday by braving the cold and doing something adventurous. We've got a few days before new years sex is underway. If you're lucky enough to have some powder, hit the slopes with your toboggan together, or going skiing/snowboarding.

Make sure you rock a killer dress at that Christmas dinner to drive him crazy, and whip out that new sexmas lingerie he's been waiting for. Naughty texts are fun, as well as a quick make out session in the back room.

Sweet escape

So the holidays may cramp your sexy style but even if you can't get away for a day there is always the evening. Hotel not an option? Well there's nothing wrong with staying in.

After a huge feast with the family you may be itching to get home, but don't rush it. Have some nice conversation over coffee and tea and take your sweet time. Surviving the holidays can be difficult but teasing one another while you wait for the night to arrive can make things a bit more fun!

Once you escape the grips of Aunt Darlene, it can begin!

What you will need:

1. candles

2. champagne or wine

3. scented oils

4. massage oil

5. bath salts/bubble

6. smooth music, perhaps jazz, a little Sufjan Stevens? Take your pick.

Dim the lights, fill up the tub and have a nice soak with one another. Take turns giving massages and forget how stressful your day with his/her family was. After all, it's most likely going to be a repeat tomorrow.

No need to suffocate, though! Don't let the holiday stress get in the way of your love life. In fact, let it be a reason to spend a little extra time and effort doing something special.

Naughty is better than nice

The holidays have arrived! If you're as lucky as me you may have escaped unscathed and without exam worries. I was lucky this time around. So now that I'm done with essays and multimedia projects I can bring you some holiday fun!

This is just round one of my fashgasm holiday special...

Obviously the holidays are both a time of fun and stress. How can you both beat the stress of ensuring all the gifts you bought were just right and making it on time to the family dinners? I would suggest a little getaway, even just for one night. Think of it as a special gift to each other! Living Social has some great deals, for example, we managed to snag a one night stay in the deluxe suite at a ritzy place in Old Montreal for half the price!

So once you plan your escape, whether it's in a hotel or requires kicking your roommates out...now you can plan some other fun for the stay...

First of all - I have something to say to the guys. Don't get your girl a lingerie set. If it's going down that road then trust me, she will supply as a gift for you. Besides, wouldn't it be awkward to get her something that just doesn't fit right. Lingerie is a gift FOR you FROM her.

Any lingerie is good, really, as long as you're feeling extra naughty and not even a little bit nice. I'd say go light on the holiday theme though, the whole "Santa's little helper" thing is a bit overdone. Something red and white would do. I really enjoy something along the lines of this:

one, two, three, floor.

I've always relied heavily on NYLON mag for style advice, because it's generally what got me into fashion in the first place. I remember going to the convenience store on my lunch in the tenth grade and buying NYLON and a 4 pack of Red Bull with Justine. I'd down the Red Bulls by the end of the lunch period (ahh so that's why my sleeping patterns were so messed up in high school...) and spend my next classes flipping through NYLON instead of taking notes. The magazine is what inspired me to start sewing (a habit that died a quick and painful death, only after dropping money on a brand new sewing machine...) and seriously consider fashion journalism or publishing in my future.

I miss being fifteen...

Anyway, I'm on the NYLON website daily checking in on what's new in the world of pop culture, and today I stumbled upon an article about Three Floor Fashion. I've heard of the company before, but only in passing, so I decided to check them out. Their current Lookbook really got my attention, and before I knew it I'd been on the site for 45 minutes, making a mental wish-list of everything I loved.

The one thing I noted about Three Floor Fashion is the fact that they have a diverse collection of pieces, ranging from pastel dresses to harsh, rocker frocks. There's fur, leather, lace, mesh...you name it, it's been incorporated in the designs.

It was cat themed... perhaps another reason I like 'em so much.

What do you think? I think the outfits make me want to get dressed up and go do something fun. I'm really liking Three Floor Fashion... definitely keeping an eye on them from now on. Thanks for the tip once again, NYLON. Always making my day a little more interesting.

A couple that plays together stays together

Depending how far you plan on going with this, you may need a safety word. And no, you can't use the word "stop". After all, what's the fun in that?

It's time to take roughhousing to the bedroom. Don't be shy, we all know that secretly, you love it. So I'll guide you through a few simple ways to try a little kink. You can work your way up to the big guns slowly...

One way to really get your partner riled up is to get a little aggressive when you're on top. There's something about being held down that can really get you hot. Unless you prefer to be the dominator, but hey, you can always take turns.

Try putting one hand on their neck, not too tight, but enough to stop them from sitting up. This is a great way to make missionary a little more naughty. Victoria's Secret '11 Recap

I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm one of those girls who gets overly excited about the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It's become an event that is counted down to and highly anticipated among my friends, and every year I'm more and more impressed with the hour long spectacle.

Here's the deal: I understand that the show is criticized, and that the girls who sit at home in their family rooms munching on celery while gazing at Alessandra and Adriana are a far-too-common breed (cough sometimes guilty cough). But, I think people tend to overlook the fact that apart from the models, the designs themselves are why many of us tune into the show. Each year, the designers seem to up their games, producing stunning pieces based around incredibly creative themes (this year included classic New Orleans, under-the-sea, and "Club Pink").

I had a hard time deciding on a few pieces that were my favourite last night, so I thought I'd post a bunch of pictures. If you missed the show, I highly suggest streaming it. If you're against the models, watch it for the fashion. OR the live music. Maroon 5, Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Nicki Minaj... unreal.

'Under the Sea' was one of my favourite themes of the night. The outfits were beautiful, especially the 2.5 million dollar bra that Miranda Kerr wore. Can we also note the fact that Miranda gave birth in January (!!) and it wasn't even noted. I found that odd, considering Adriana's return at the 2010 show after having a baby was a major deal. Miranda looks great, and her husband definitely agreed for the entire show (hello various Orlando Bloom solo standing ovations).

Adam Levine serenades girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna while Maroon 5 performs as I watched in a fit of jealous rage. (Just Kidding). (Kind of).

All in all, one of my favourite VSFS years to date. If you watched the show, what are your thoughts on everything?

I don't know what it is about the British Fashion Awards, but every year, I am always way more excited to find out the results and see the looks than I am for the CFDA awards. Is it because British men and women dress better? Design better? Look better?

I haven't a clue, but here are some looks to lust over if you, like me, have just a few things to finish off for the semester. You call it procrastination, I call it inspiration for the holidays.

Adventures in the Ivy League

I'm currently sitting in a hotel room in New Haven, Connecticut overlooking the Yale University campus. My dad called me last week informing me he was going on an impromptu business trip to the school, and invited me and my sisters along. Obviously, I jumped at it. I've never visited an Ivy League school and it works out perfectly that for the 4 days we're here in New Haven, I have absolutely nothing going on at school (RARE).

My sister and I spent today, which was the first day of our trip, roaming about the city and campus. Surprisingly enough, despite its incredible history and beautiful buildings, the city of New Haven itself isn't as nice as we were expecting. You'd assume a city that's home to one of the most prestigious schools in the world would have a respectable reputation, but from what people here have been telling me and what I've seen so far, it's pretty much the opposite. The crime rate in New Haven is through the roof, and the streets surrounding Yale are filled with homeless people and loud, obnoxious citizens. It doesn't really bother me, though. I actually find it pretty entertaining. Everyone seems to talk to everyone like they know each other, stopping in the street to talk to anyone who's down to strike up a convo.

BUT, when you get onto the Yale campus it's literally like entering a whole new world (I'm singing the Aladdin song in my head right now...). The streets are lined with ancient, beautiful ivy covered buildings, bicycles have replaced all cars, and everyone is twenty years old and walking quickly, like they're constantly late for class.

It was kinda intimidating, but kinda great. Actually, it was just great.

I tried to note what many of the students were wearing so I could write about it on here. I think Gossip Girl syndrome got to me again, because I was waiting to see people frolicking about in argyle and pearls, when what I mostly saw was people frolicking about in sweats and Yale sweaters. Everyone seemed pretty worn down, which is to be expected near the end of the school term on an Ivy League campus.

However, there were still a ton of students dressed in outfits that I couldn't wait to blog about. I actually saw a few common, recurring trends that I love. They're simple and easy, but look great.

The first trend I noticed on campus was the two and three-toned knit sweaters. I saw a bunch of girls wearing these with simple skinny jeans and flats. They looked great, but also comfy and definitely something I'd wear to class.

Something else I noticed was the abundance of colourful blazers around campus. I looove blazers, especially if they're bright and make a statement. I saw a few girls wearing them in green and red, and some in prints (floral blazers, YAY!).

Another trend I noticed today, which is definitely my favourite, was the popular short skirt and knitwear trend. I saw a lot of girls sporting fitted skirts with baggy, extremely comfy looking knitted sweaters. A great fall look with flats or chunky boots. I want all the baggy knits!!

Tomorrow we're taking the train to NYC for the day so I can reunite with my favourite city (eee!). Despite the fact that I have absolutely zero dollars to my name, I'm going to spend my time exploring and people-watching. So, expect another post soon!

We love Canadian talent and right now, Coco Rocha is at the top of our love list. The 23 year old supermodel from Toronto is all over the place - runways, covers and campaigns - and now she has launched a jewellery line in collaboration with Senhoa. Filled with chains, Swarovski crystals and silver, the collection is totally badass.

Rose gold is basically a mixture of gold and copper. The more copper that is in it, the pinker it gets.

When I first saw rose gold jewelry, I was a bit skeptical. Why would I want to buy something that looks like a penny?

But after looking at a bunch of rose gold stuff it really started to grow on me.

Rose gold is awesome because: 1) it looks vintage 2) it matches with both gold and silver and 3) it looks good with all skin tones!

My personal favourite rose gold accessories are watches. When shopping for a new watch, it isn’t always a good idea to buy a golden or silver one.

This is because you can’t wear silver jewelry with the gold watch and vice versa.

Rose gold, however, solves that problem. It is great for something neutral like a watch, because you can wear it with all colours of jewelry.

Many months ago I told the guys they simply HAVE to get down on their lady. And they still do, you're not getting out of that so easily.

But I think it's time I turned the tables and reminded the girls that sometimes you need to go down too. Why? The answer is simple.

It will keep him happy. Just as it keeps you happy when he goes down, right? Sometimes it's nice just to have a little lovin' shown, and continue with your day. It goes for both of you. Plus, I've heard dudes are less likely to cheat if they get a regular bj, no lie!

So it's pretty simple to make your way down, unzip the pants and have your way. But first I will call the attention of the men. Yes, guys, listen up.

Nasty November

I think I could spend every penny I have on NastyGal.com. No, I know I could. A follower of the San Francisco-based company's Facebook page (updated daily with the power to consume hours of my time at once), every month I'm overwhelmed by their "Monthly Arrivals" albums.

The 'New Arrivals-November '11' album was exceptionally impressive. When it popped up on my newsfeed the other day and I began to click away, I came to the conclusion that I literally wanted to own EVERY item in EVERY one of the 153 pictures on the page. But, while NastyGal is actually priced really reasonably, I literally have no cash to throw around right now. Zip. Zilch. Zero.

So, here I am, and I figure if I can't buy any of it I can at least blog about it.

There are a lot of prints in the new arrivals. A lot of animal and A LOT of tribal. The tribal skirts (above) are some of my favourite pieces. I mean, having a great print skirt never fails...you can throw it on with a simple black top and be ready to go. Easy, peasy.

There's a major '80s/'90s throwback theme to a lot of the November pieces. When I was looking through the pictures, I kept getting Madonna songs stuck in my head...

I really like the style of dresses above. NastyGal seems to be loving this side cutout look and I think it adds a lot to what would be just simple dresses.

Do you need something to quench your mid-afternoon thirst right now... a thirst that soda water in your purse just can't seem to quench? Friends, it's time to invest the "Baggy Winecoat."

If you haven't heard about it yet, you must be living under a rock.

Jennifer Love Hewitt made it famous...but it's up to all you ladies out there to make it classy, not trashy.

I can't help but wonder what her style of vajazzling is. Does she go all out, diamonds everywhere or many colours and patterns? OR just something simple. There are really two ways to go, but I only approve of ONE of them.

This is not one of them:

Now, this is not a REAL or authentic vajazzle by the looks of it, you don't want to have any sort of variation like this. Don't put "juicy" or "enter here" anywhere near your vag. Gross. Also, colour scheme is key in thinking about your vajazzle. I suggest you stick to one colour of crystal to avoid turning your vagina into something tackier than your grandmother's couch. Maybe two if the colours really complement each other and aren't too loud.

The number of crystals you place down under also makes a difference. Depending on the design, sometimes a lot looks great, or extremely overdone and weird. How can you do it right? Well, I happen to like this little piece of work right here:

I think the best way to go about vajazzling is to keep it simple. I really do believe when it comes to your lady bits, simple is easy and beautiful. I mean, have you ever seen a woman's pubes shaved into hearts and stars? Strange, but whatever you think looks good, right?

Simple and classic, kind of like these, are your best bet. Also, they are less likely to freak out your guy when he heads on down to find a shimmering surprise.

Now you're probably wondering, where can I get these crystals glued to my lady bits!? You MUST, I repeat, MUST, go to a special salon to get it done. Doing it yourself is absolutely not allowed. Unless you want to do the whole trashy look, I recommend you suck it up and pay to get it done by a professional. Not only will it look way better, it will stay on because they can do it right.

Unfortunately, here in Ottawa there doesn't seem to be a studio that does vajazzling. Why is this? Come on Ottawa, are we really that reserved. I'm sure behind the pant suits, the ladies would like to make themselves smile with a few crystals in their nether regions.

But if you head to Toronto you can definitely add a little glamour, and as Hewitt says, make yourself feel better. I mean, I guess I couldn't help but laugh or something if I looked down and had crystals on my vaj. Lets be honest.

And for all you men out there...you must be jealous of all of this talk about vajazzling. Well if you want to give disco balls a whole new meaning, give it a try. I dare you!

Trick or treat!

Halloween weekend has arrived. So do you want a trick or a treat?

Personally... I would like both.

I'm sure you're expecting to get a little scared this weekend, but I think a big part of Halloween is sex appeal. I mean, what other day of the year do you get to put on your sluttiest gear and head out the door without judgement (except maybe that look your mother gives you when she sees you're not wearing any form of pants).

I think there are maybe two exceptions. This is one:

You should save the naughty bits for the bedroom, instead of baring pretty much ALL of it at the bar. Just sayin'...

So if you're not being yourself for a night, this shouldn't end when the party does. Let your new found personality for Hallows eve take over and get a little freaky with your significant other.

Step one: Pick a sexy/freaky outfit

Step two: Be a tease and play your role. That means working your wild streak. We are bordering the line of fantasy and then completely knocking the fence down and getting savagely sexy here.

Step three: Have fun and great freaky, creepy, whatever you are feeling. Or I guess...whatever your character is feeling. And don't be afraid to bring it home all the way under the sheets.

Step four: Leave pieces of your costume on, even when things get hot and heavy. Maybe your heels or your cats ears, or more if you're really into the play.

And the most important element of all: DON'T TELL. Try and keep your dirty plans to yourself. Flirt all night and then surprise them when you get home. They're in for quite a treat, and I must say...I think it's better than candy.

After much wondering, the guessing game is done. The entire Versace for H&M lookbook is out, and we can't wait for it to hit stores.

The collection, which is slated to hit American stores November 19th, is filled with loud prints, super bright colours, leather and this year's favourite trend, cutouts.

“For the collaboration we’ve brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace, such as the bright prints, the Greek key, and daring cuts. I can’t wait to see how H&M’s wide audience will make these pieces their own.” says Donatella Versace.

It is a loud collection, but don't be scared off at first glance. The printed leggings, dresses and bags can all be paired with something neutral (think black) for the faint of heart.

If you still lack the motivation to throw on one of these pieces, relax. For the first time ever, this collaboration will feature home decor. This means you can now decorate your bedroom with classic Versace prints with pillows and a bedspread.

Our only holdback with this collection? The jewellery and bags look tacky. The jewelled details look like they are going to fall right off, and let's be honest, it's not a good look for anyone. The costume jewellery is just that - costume. It's something you'd wear once and then get tired of.

Our advice is to avoid the accessories and stick to the clothes. You can buy subpar purses and one-time use jewellery somewhere else.

We all know how icky fall can be when it comes to school. So many assignments and so little time. So how can you remain happy between essays, lack of sleep, and stacks of readings?

I have a recommendation...it will not only please you as a whole, but also your lady parts.

The quickie.

It's essential during those busy times. Perhaps a quick study break in the early afternoon to really get your blood pumping. A sweaty sesh in between books, an afternon romp, a quick dip... you get what I'm throwin' down.

The quickie is essential in every relationship. Before work, between classes...it's just a necessity. And no, it doesn't have to bang bang boom boom, see ya lata! A little oral play can spice things up...and leave you wanting more for the evening when you maybe have a bit more time.

Places where a quickie can take places include (but are not limited to...come on guys, be creative!):

I have been struggling to keep warm in this weird October weather we're having in Ottawa. Cardigans do nothing, and my supply of long-sleeved shirts is seriously lacking. What is a girl to do to stay warm in the winter?

I recently popped into Forever 21, a staple for university students across the country. I picked up a plain blue knit sweater that is perfect for over jeans or skirts. However, I am desperately in need of the printed sweaters I saw all over the F/W 2011 runways. Here is what I want in my closet right now.

The trick is not to look like you're at a ski chalet taking a break in between hills. It's all about the Fashgasm. This Marc x Marc Jacobs could look dowdy, but pair it with sequin tights and sky-high black pumps and you've got a look any girl would be jealous of.

I kept the shorts in this picture to show you what you can do with the above. To beat the cold in the coming winter while looking fabulous, trade caramel shorts for black leather shorts and some sheer black tights.

This Elizabeth and James sweater is a little harder to pull off. You risk looking like your crazy aunt at Thanksgiving if not done properly. For a more relaxed look, pair with your tightest, curve-hugging black skinnies and a combat boot and you will be the best dressed in any of your classes.

This is a great cozy sweater that's easy for anyone to pull off. I would order it in a couple sizes too big and throw it over a pair of opaque (make sure they are not see-through in any capacity!) and a pair of black suede booties.

Balancing act

When it comes to prioritizing, I will admit, sometimes I slip. It's hard to put one thing over another, when that other might be a bit more tempting. For example, shall I go to the bar with my friends, or will I write that English paper that's worth a hefty chunk of my grade?

You may think you have to choose one or the other, but you can still have fun while setting your priorities straight.

The same goes with your significant other. School can be tough, and it often leads you to being busier than normal during peak times. But why break up over a few textbooks and a lot of essays? Sure, it's frustrating, but it doesn't have to be this way, and I will tell you how and WHY.

Obviously it's the season of essays, write-ups, whatever. And the books are piling up. So it's time to get in gear, put away the googly eyes, and let the brisk air (though right now mother nature is tricking us) remind you that summer lovin' is over, we've moved into free fallin'.

This includes locking yourself to your desk for nights on end. Or shackling yourself to your laptop on the fifth floor of the library.

First of all, the golden rule is to NEVER do homework with your honey.

Why, you ask? The answer is simple. Of course at first you'll be super into that reading about American history or really nailing that thesis down for Canadian lit. But then, once you feel as though "you have accomplished enough" (when REALLY you haven't, you're just being optimistic), break time comes. And you know what that means? Sex, sex that will distract you for hours. And then after the sex, you'll be tired and shaky and just want to relax, maybe watch a movie. And ALL YOU WROTE was a thesis? Dude, you have 14 more pages to go.

This is where time management comes into play.

Of course, penciling in one another doesn't really work either. It kind of turns your relationship into something that doesn't seem healthy. So no, don't be afraid to lose that spontaneity. Just keep your shit together.

When you sit down to do your readings, finish them. When you write a paper, try to get at least half done before hitting the town and getting down.

You're already stresses about school, why be stressed about your love life too? Seems pointless. And another hint, don't get mad when someone has to ditch date night, or come late, because of homework. TRUST ME, they would much rather be cuddling up with you or having a dirty martini while gazing into your eyes. But sometimes, you just have to bite the bullet.

If you can manage to wipe the homework off your plate first, you could have an entire weekend to spend in bed, on the town, or maybe out of town...

McQueen Dream

I spent the duration of my 2 hour Cultural Studies lecture yesterday on Twitter, following Jeanne Beker's minute-t0-minute live tweeting of the McQueen Spring/Summer '12 show. I was really, really looking forward to seeing the collection, and every outfit that Jeanne tweeted did NOT disappoint.

The one thing that I always admired so much about Alexander McQueen was his ability to make even the hardest looking outfit- the darkest, scariest looking piece of fashion- have so much beauty to it. He was the only man who could make a wire cage and animal horns look incredible together. He was a genius, really, and the S/S'12 collection has proven that Sarah Burton has been able to carry on that genius.

The collection is, in a word, beautiful. While Burton has thrown her own style into the designs, she hasn't strayed from McQueen tradition. Drastic waistlines, dramatic headwear, and-thank god!!-lots of feathers, are still important aspects of the McQueen line. And, as popular with McQueen, many of the pieces have harsh shapes (jolting waistlines, sharply cut necklines), but also elude a kind of softness. Through choice of fabric, colour, and texture, the collection is quite refreshing, and it makes me want to go running through a field in Scotland.

Fall has arrived and it's getting a bit chilly outside...to my absolute horror. But I knew it would come, so I should learn to embrace it.

So whenever a new season starts I like to buy myself a little something. Or a few somethings, but that's beside the point. I've recently been thinking about a certain purchase that those of us in long distance relationships might find handy. A friend once told me, if you are a woman and you DON'T have one, you don't know what you're missing. She then urged me to shop around.

Apparently you can even get them shipped to your doorstep in an anonymous box. Ooooh.

I think it's pretty obvious what I'm talking about.

They come in all shapes and sizes, and so many colours! I hadn't really thought about how necessary these might be. I usually just wondered if it would be awkward for my roommate to hear the buzzing through the walls and realize what's going on.

But it's not like you're lonely and sad, you just don't have anyone there to do it for you! And I don't know about you but some of us ladies need tools to get the job done.

I know some with multiple tools...a box of fun - of the adult variety - under their bed. Nothing wrong with that.

Of course, I am a rather simple girl. So something like the above would please me just the right amount. But for those of you who feel a bit more adventurous, there is plenty out there that the sex pros have to offer...

With so many choices, maybe you won't even mind staying in some nights...

So this week you have a little homework. And even if you already own a vibrator/dildo, nothing wrong with revamping the "wardrobe" I guess you could call it?

Sorry we've all been a little MIA the past week - it's been crazy. Ottawa Fashion Week took over my life from Wednesday until today, and writing my pieces was all of today. It's always a really exciting time of week when my roommates and I venture out to Loblaws. Not just because I enjoy grocery shopping trips, but because Loblaws is home to one of my favourite places. And I am going to share this favourite place with you.

While I'm sure you've all seen the catchy commercials ("Oh you pretty things, don't you know you're driving your mamas and papas insane?"), I'm truly concerned that you don't take Joe Fresh seriously. I mean, a clothing line in a grocery store? Really?

Well, guess what.

It is very, very serious. And it is very, very awesome.

It's safe to say that Joe is one of my favourite places to acquire my basic fashion needs. The line is simple and clean, and full of great fitting, comfortable pieces. If you're looking for basic tops, Joe is your go-to. Affordable, stylish (yes, it's actually stylish), and versatile.

About a year ago, I posted about the horror of sequin Uggs that Oprah was promoting on her show. They were an ugly take on an already too popular boot that did nothing for anyone's outfit.

I didn't think anything could get worse until I saw these the other day:

These go by the name of 'Bootie Pies' and they are made of suede and faux sheepskin lining.

The company touts them as being the boot to wear in winter to keep your pedicure from being ruined. But really?? Is that the best sales pitch you can come up with for boots that cost a hundred bucks a pop that look like this. Hell, I'd walk home from the salon in the free flip flops they give you than wear these on my feet in the middle of winter.

There are so many things a girl can do to turn a guys switch on. And fast.

Let me kick off this blog post with an apology! I found my brain stirring ideas for days at a time but lacking the right moment when I could nestle into my couch for a good solid session of writing for you all. And for this I am sorry!

Now we can blast off!

We all have those thoughts in our heads that we might feel a bit awkward saying out loud. It seems as though we have been brought up in a society where letting your darkest desires surface is shameful and wrong. I would like to stand up and defy this societal norm which most young men and women seem to abide by.

If you want something you should scream it out loud!

What am I talking about? Your sexual fantasies of course.

There is a lot out there to cover, it would take me days and many pages to go over it. But maybe one day, I will try.

As leaves change colour and begin to fall, it’s time for a change in our wardrobes too. We need to say goodbye to our floral rompers, open-toed wedges and crop tops. I know, it’s sad. But, as the saying goes: “every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end.

The end to summer marks the return of our leather bombers and cashmere scarves. Yes, this is exciting. However, dressing for fall does pose problems. The main problem for me is how to wear a blazer yet still look sexy.

How exactly can one rock a blazer without looking like Hillary Clinton or Margaret Thatcher?

Suggestion 1: Instead of going for a plain and solid fabric try something different like lace. It’s in this season and can spice up any outfit.

Suggestion 2: Try patchwork elbows. They make any blazer look less stiff and more chilled out.

Suggestion 3: To add excitement to your outfit, find a blazer with sleeves that are slightly rolled up to expose a different colour/print.

Suggestion 4: Don’t wear a blazer that is the exact same colour and fabric as the bottoms you will be wearing. Wearing a female suit is something you should probably save until you turn 40. Instead, try wearing a different colour bottom or even a dress underneath your blazer.

Suggestion 5: DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, ever wear a full sequin blazer. Just because Beyonce did it at the VMAs does not mean everyone has free reign to do it too. I guarantee it will look tacky in 99% of situations.

I love fall fashion more than anything. Blacks can be worn without stares in return, tights come back to hide the lack of tanning and, most importantly, fall shoes are appropriate.

In my mind, the fall season starts now. I am seriously stretching it, but once it gets to the point where I can wear pants comfortably, my fall shoes come out of the closet.

Here are the top shoe trends to buy now!

These don't even need a description about why they should be on your fall wish list, but I'll give you one anyways since I haven't written in a couple weeks. They're elegant and sexy; tough and demure. A girl can wear them to class or while out trying to score a job.

Lookin' Good, Lazy

It's back to school shopping time!

I'll be realistic and admit that I've been "back to school" shopping since the first week I got home from school in April. I've spent the past four months acquiring quite the collection of clothes and quite the unhealthy addiction. But thats beside the point.

When it comes to school, I'm all for dressing up to go to class. But theres some days when it's enough that I'm even making the trek to campus, let alone dressing well for it. The days I do wear my sweats to school (which are usually the same days I forgo the hair washing) I always end up feeling so gross and lazy. These are also the days I tend to run into everyone I know on campus. Yay.

In the most recent issue of "Glamour", theres an article on how to dress lazy and comfy without feeling gross in sweats: "It's just as easy to throw on a pair of jeans and flats as it is to throw on sweatpants".

SO, when going back to school, there's a few items that can help out with the whole lazy day attire issue:

1. A good pair of COMFY jeans.

I just bought a pair from Zara that I know I'll live in this year. They're ridiculously comfy, but actually look good. I could wear them to class or the bar. The great thing about having jeans like this is you may as well be wearing sweats, but you don't feel like a complete lazy bum when you're in them. I know jean shopping can be frustrating, but its worth it to find even one pair that fits like a glove.

2. A long cardigan that fits WELL.

I own a lot of long, grandma cardigans, but this summer I bought a black Wilfred cardigan that has a lot of shape to it and is also extremely warm and comfy. I feel stylish AND like I'm wrapped in a blanky, all at the same time. Extremely versatile.

3. A bunch of tanks in solid colours.

I grab all my tanks from H&M about a size too big. They're about $10 each and fit really nicely. They're not tight enough that I look like I'm going to the gym, and they're loose enough that I could throw a necklace on and get away with em at the bar.

I hope everyone who is heading back to school in 2 weeks has a wonderful year. I personally can't wait to get this show on the road. I'm going crazy waiting!

Long distance lovin'

Summer is coming to close, and you may have found a summer romance. As students, we often find ourselves going to different cities for different parts of the year, and perhaps running into something amazing on our way through. If you have decided to blow out the flame before parting ways to go back to school, think again. Whether it's a few hours or a day away, you can make it last as long as you have the determination to do so.

First of all, don't think of the negatives right away, because not being able to see each other at every waking moment is actually pretty healthy. It keeps you both independent, and when you do see each other, it's that much more special.

You also get to spend more time with your own projects, friends and so on. No one wants to be the person that ONLY hangs out with their boyfriend/girlfriend. You need your own life, and having a long distance relationship allows for this a lot more, which is not a bad thing when you're young! You can still talk daily on the phone before bed, but having some time for yourself is never a bad thing.

Of course, before the long distance begins, you'll want to talk about it and decide what you want for the future, and if you want to make it work, or break it off until you're back in the same city.

I know a lot of people, including myself, that are very happy in their long distance relationship, and even though it's difficult sometimes, there are ways to make it seem not so bad. I can't complain too much about my two and a half hour trek when Berlin and Florida are on the list of places my friends boyfriends are/have been. And even though you can't cuddle every night you can still make it work with a few things all of us long distance lovers have surely tried.

First of all, you're going to need a web cam so you can see your sweetie, no matter where you might be. My personal choice is skype. You can drag your laptop into a cozy spot and talk for hours, or just have a quick chat before going out. Skype is a given, if you don't have it, get it! Google talk also works wonders and has better video quality.

Another important thing to think about is you cell phone or home phone, and the long distance plan. Make sure you have unlimited, or put them in your top five so if you have an urge to dial 'em, you can at ease! Texting is also good, it's nice just to be able to update each other on little things through the week. I also enjoy receiving simple smiley faces.

Now, when things get busy, that's when stuff gets tough. But if you are both working hard, it's easier to make it through. Just stay focused, and if you can't talk every day, sneak in a quick text, or even a five minute phone call on your commute.

And of course, there are the trips. Take turns visiting one another, or even make a weekend trip to another city to get away for a bit. The few days you get to spend together every so often are the most important in making it work.

Of course, it can't always work, so don't beat yourself up if it doesn't. Depending on distance, it can be difficult, but it all depends on what you make of it. IT doesn't have to be complicated unless you make it that way.

Carine Roitfeld is an atypical French woman. Yes, she is incredibly stylish and beautiful and holds many other 'typical' French attributes. However, she just doesn't seem to give a fuck.

After being let go from the iconic French Vogue late last year, she scored a jealousy inducing gig at Barney's NY as a stylist and guest editor for the store's fall ad catalogue and campaigns.

Remember how a couple years ago the fashion mullet was in? Girls chopped off their hair to get in on this trend. It was disastrous, horrifying even - and I was one of those girls.

Fortunately this post is about a different kind of fashion mullet. I am loving the mullet cut on tops and dresses because of how they hide a lot and add an easy to pull off asymmetrical line to any outfit.

My favourite thing is how versatile the cut is - from Zoey Kravitz to McQueen's runway, it's a look that works casual and formal.

Everyone seems to overlook the one thing I find to be very important and even more sensual than the act of sex.

If there is one thing I love, it is kissing. Not so much the gross displays of affection (but don't judge, we're all guilty!)...more so the deep kisses you can share with someone in the morning, before bed, and of course...pre, post, and of course during some steamy sexy time!

There are certain kisses in certain places that can leave you feeling so tingly and charged, there's no way you won't moan. And don't be afraid to add a little tongue (emphasis on a little, because sometimes thats REALLY all you need).

Make your shoe the main piece in your outfit. This means no silly zippers near it or anklets. It's strong enough to work on it's own
Stick to a simple silhouette with your outfit.
Wear your pants low and your dresses high. This is for hemlines, btw. A hem that is too high on a pant will cit off your leg at an awkward proportion. The same goes for a dress with a too low hemline.
Or just ignore the rules and rock them as your own. Send us your pictures!

I'll admit it. I'm a shoeaholic (then again, who isn't?). But my addiction runs so deep that I would drop cash on a six-inch pair of heels before I would spend the same amount on groceries. I wouldn't hesitate to put shoes before a pair of rip-free pair of jeans.

Neon Summer & Scene Kid Flashbacks

Hi friends! This one will be short because I'm on my way out the door, but I felt like a post from me was far, far overdue.

I was shopping at Zara yesterday, browsing the sale items (the only place I belong anymore, since I'm almost completely broke) and I noticed all their neon pants were on sale.

It's no secret that neon has been a huge trend this summer, and one of my favourites. My usual black attire has begun to blend among my various highlighter pink and green crop tops, bathing suit tops, and belts. Neons are just plain fun, and look lurvely with a tan.

The one thing that I haven't purchased and have been a little unsure about purchasing is a bright pair of pants. I think it's because when I think bright pants, I think about the days I thought I was a scene kid and everyone I knew wore bright purple pants with checkered Vans and band-tees. Oh god, the flashbacks...

But these Zara pants WERE pretty cute. And they were on sale for $20 from $65. I grabbed a pair of green ones, a pair of yellow ones, and a few pairs of jeans in the same style.

They all fit the same, since they were the same pair of pants (HAH), but since I am actually poor I had to spend some time debating the colour that I would get the most use out of. And, in the end, I obviously chose the jeans.

I just can't seem to get on board with buying bright neon pants. Like I said, I'm all for the neons and am currently in the market for a neon bag, but something about the pants... I feel like it's taking it a bit too far. Something about it seems childish to me. But, like I said, that could be because they give me flashbacks of being 15 years old.

Style meets sex

I'm sure you've all walked into a sex shop before and had a quick peek at the vibrators and the handcuffs. Those are just small accessories for the bedroom, a lot of people invest in a few toys during their lifetime.

But today I discovered an investment that goes a little further. I thought a normal bed would suffice when it comes to getting it on, but some people apparently think otherwise...

Liberator.com sells items to add a little something to your sex life, while also attempting to be, erm, stylish? Okay, it's sex furniture. Furniture...to have sex on. So when your friends or in-laws come over, make sure you stow it away. Letting someone sit on it would be just awkward.

The pieces come in different shapes and sizes, and you can even order ties for you to lock your partner in. Now these are investment pieces, as some cost upwards of $500.

This bad boy is called "The Zeppelin". Apparently it moves with you as you.... maneuver, twist, turn, whatever. It kind of looks like a glorified bean bag chair to me, but I'll never know unless I lay down about 500 bucks to find out.

This "Black Label Esse" could never disguise itself as any regular piece of furniture. I find the shape to be a bit awkward, but it claims to enhance position possibilities, as well as the big "O". An arch under your back can help to achieve orgasm, but usually a pillow can do the trick.

After some browsing, I think the "Black Label Esse Chaise" looks like a winner. Not too much of a curve, looks pretty sleek and actually looks like it could offer a good stomping ground for nights in.

But my overall conclusion: unnecessary. Unless you have the funds and aren't afraid of someone discovering your "secret playground" (get real though, it's pretty obvious these pieces were made for some sweaty romps), then by all means, go for it.

But I'm going to be honest, a bed is your best option. And that's just on a normal night.

The stylish factor and the orgasm factor of the liberator pieces just don't seem to entice me. Ikea has some rather nice couches that I'm sure many people could vouch for as good "lovemaking zones".

From my standpoint, you would have to be seriously into kink to feel the need to purchase one of these bad boys. Great sex can happen anywhere and on any type of furniture. Hell, the floor can be pretty hot.

Although definitely interesting, it's just not for me.

I know I teased you all about this interview I was doing so long ago, but, finally, here it is!

Graden with her most recent work and some of the fabric she works with.

Alexandra Graden is a talented fashion designer who has yet to enter university. Graden, 18, began her line, Alexandra Lee, in 2010 after showcasing her work at high school fashion shows and making items for her friends. The business is run solely through Facebook and word of mouth - and this seems to be working. Friends tell friends of the clothing, they check out the clothes on Facebook, and if they like what they see, the potential buyer heads up to Graden's home to be fitted and see the merchandise in public. This is how I found, and fell in love with, Graden's designs. The designer, who is stunning (we can't help ourselves!), is currently working on her clothing full-time and plans to attend Ryerson University's fashion design program in September. She has a lot on her plate and is definitely a talent to watch out for.

Graden recently sat down with Sarah and Justine, where she let loose on where she draws inspiration from, her personal style and her future career aspirations.

Alexandra Graden: It started when I was in grade 11 when I took a fashion course at WDHS. I learned how to use a sewing machine and I would take scraps of fabric and I taught myself to sew that way. I would make really simple designs. From there I started a small business. I collected scraps of fabrics from anywhere I could find them like thrift stores. I just started sewing and people started to like what I would wear, so then I started to sell it. I started a Facebook group and it kind of grew and now people are buying my clothes.

Everything is one of a kind. Since the fabric is bought from thrift stores, it’s not like I can go back and buy ten more metres of a fabric I like. Unless I have a little bit extra, everything is just a one-time thing.

F: What are you inspired by when you design?

AG: I’m inspired by bold prints and a lot of colour. I like really simple designs but I like using gorgeous fabrics, really bold, bold fabrics so it balances out. I like going to the city because I’m really inspired by people that I see. Sometimes I’m inspired by what I see on Fashion Television, the prints and colours that people are buying. I’m really inspired by vintage. I like rompers and pantsuits and high-waists and double breasted – all that style.

F: Why did you choose to go to school for fashion?

AG: I chose to go to school for fashion to expand my knowledge of everything. I taught myself pretty much everything I know from books and sewing patterns. I decided to go to school to have a more professional background so I can get a job when I’m older. I need a well-rounded education, not just sewing, but drawing and patternmaking.

F: Will you be continuing your line while you’re at school?

AG: It’s hard to say now because I haven’t done this while going to school. I started this line during a year I took off between high school and university. I’m definitely going to bring some of my things to school with me and see if people are interested down there so I can expand the line. I’m not sure if I’ll have time to actually make new clothes. I’ll definitely start it back up in the summer, between school years. Being in Toronto during the school year will definitely help build a client base.

F: You graduate in four years. Have you even thought about your plans that far in advance?

AG: My dream job is to eventually have my own store where I can have a seamstress and put my clothes out there. Right now, I’m thinking that might not be the most realistic option for money and for stability. That’s also why I’ve decided to go to school, to learn about business and to find a stable job. I would also love to work for a clothing company or a designer as an assistant designer. My dream would definitely be to have my own store.

F: Does creating menswear interest you at all?

AG: I don’t know if I ever would get into suits or something similar. I really do like women’s clothing. There’s just so many ways you can go with a woman – you can put her in pants or put a woman in a skirt. It’s not as common to put a man in a skirt. I feel like there’s more freedom with women’s clothing.

F: Who do you design for when you’re sketching?

AG: Honestly, I’m thinking of myself, like of what I really, really like. I have a lot of different styles so I think that benefits the line because I design a lot of really different things that different types of people would wear.

F: Tell me about the shopping parties you’re planning. How are these going to work?

AG: Every week or every two weeks, I’m going to have groups of people come over to my studio. I’m going to have everything set up, like tables of fabric and clothing on the rack, so the customers can pick the style and fabric they want. Or they can buy straight off the rack. I want to have different groups of girls come every week so it doesn’t get too crazy.

F: Who is your favourite designer?

AG: I really like Christian Dior and Balenciaga. I really like structured and put-together women, and I know it doesn’t really reflect in the clothing I make, but I’m working on developing on that.

F:Who is your style icon?

AG: I really like Audrey Hepburn. And Jackie Kennedy was really badass. She was really put together and classically elegant. Kate Middleton is the same way. All those prominent people, they’re just so put together all the time and everything they wear is really timeless. I love timeless things. They’re modest but they still look sexy.

DIY: porn edition

For those of you who aren't camera shy: you're gonna love it.

There are so many things you can do yourself. DIY's are one of my favourite things to mess around with. However, I am often lazy and usually find myself giving into consumer culture. But when I'm feeling crafty, it's a whole other story.

For you porn fans out there, perhaps you have thought of making your own short and sexy film?

I hear your objections already...

"But Mel! What if it is unleashed into the amateur porn world, and suddenly my ass is featured on pornhub?!"

Oh, don't be silly. Just don't pull a Paris Hilton, and you're good. Also, don't film yourself in night vision. We've all seen the result: a creepy looking raccoon-like creature pouncing on some dude's junk. Not exactly the sexiest...

So, for a successful and sexy night of movie making, the rules are quite simple.

1. Good lighting. Don't be shy, it's not like the whole world is going to see it! (I'll get to that part later)

2. Be playful and fun and flirty. Tease each other and the camera. Don't take it too seriously, and just pretend it's not there!

3. Use a tripod, try different angles if you so desire. Handheld could also be fun when foreplay is happening.

4. The most important rule...after you indulge in watching your very own porno...delete it. YES! DELETE IT! No matter how wonderful, sexy and hot it is, please delete it. Maybe you trust each other, but even so, if someone else gets their dirty paws on that, everyone may get to see your naughty bits. So don't make me stress this anymore than I feel I should.

It's the filming and the watching that is the fun part. Once it's over...you can trash it. And if you so feel the urge to watch yourself have sex, just do it all over again.

If you feel hesitant even going there, you can always look into the many other couples who have done it, and went to the next level by sharing it publicly. I wouldn't encourage anyone to do that. However, I can share one favourite of mine: Chloe Lamb. A lot of my male friends appreciate her homemade videos as well. If you take a look I'm sure you'll understand why.

Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty at The Met

Justine and I recently returned from a wonderful (and exhausting) trip to New York City. It was a great time, and one of the highlights of the trip-and one of the reasons we were so set on going-was the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibit at The Met.

I went into the exhibit positive that I was going to love what I saw, and I was right. It was absolutely stunning, and a bit overwhelming at times. McQueen's most epic pieces were displayed in different rooms, all with varying themes. However, for the most part it was all very dark. But, that's McQueen for you. I felt like I was stepping into the mind of a tortured romantic, and at times I seriously thought I was going to cry. SO much passion and heart poured into the most incredible designs.

The one thing Justine and I noted about the works of art (because that's truly what McQueen designs are) was the fact that, when looking at each design, it's very hard to place what year they're from. Until I read the plaques, I would guess a dress was from a 2007 collection when it was from a 1996. It's seriously impressive, the fact that McQueen didn't follow rules in terms of what was "in" for each season. Unless you studied the pieces very hard and noticed that in the more recent years the designs have become more complex/a bit better quality, it's impossible to place the year of their creation.

The strangest and saddest part of the McQueen exhibit was reaching the end ("please don't be over yet!") and coming to his last collection: Plato's Atlantis. Home of the Armadillo Shoe, this collection is stunning, and it's almost hard to look at when you realize he was designing such beautiful pieces so close to the end of his life.

Every collection of McQueen's tells the story of a man who was tormented by his emotions. And although McQueen's work is dark, there is an undertone of romance and passion.

I'm not even exaggerating when I suggest flying to Manhattan just to see this exhibit. The lines and crowds are a bit of a bitch, but it's worth it.

Maybe I'm late learning about this or have been living under a rock, or whatever, but until yesterday I had never heard of Shoedazzle. Apparently women love this site because you can get shoes for $39.95 a pair. And since everyone's favourite style icon Kim Kardashian helps to choose the site, I could not resist checking it out.

(I really hope you caught the sarcasm there.)

Since I clearly have nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon than avoid the sun, I spent a little bit of time playing around on this site. I clicked some boxes under pretty shoes and then was told to wait for a little bit until my 'ShoeDazzle Stylists' had my personalized showroom complete.

The wait was definitely not worth it. The shoes looked cheap and like they would fall apart after a couple wears. It hurt me a little, just because I am so in love with shoes and will usually give everything a chance.

These shoes don't do anything for me either.

I guess all in all I'm frustrated with this service and won't be using it. I suppose I can't be expecting stunning shoes for that amount of money, but I was expecting something a little better.

However, I feel there is a a little positive to my test of the site. I really love the look of this pair. They're simple but would spice up a skinny jean in a second!

I'm finally back after a brief hiatus. Canada day kept me busy, followed by a few days in Montreal. I really would have given you something to chew on, but my boyfriend's new place has no internet yet, so we were living like cavemen. But now I'm here so that's all that matters!

I've been enjoying the warm weather, and it's something I often like to talk about. It's quite easy to feel the heat when you're feeling...the heat. Do you follow?

Well the days are hot and sunny and the nights cool off. A little thought came into my head one night while finding my way home. It's dark, the stars are out...why not skip the bedroom and find a nice secluded park to strip down with someone special?

First of all, it's kind of romantic if you find a good spot. Everything is green and in bloom, and the flowers give off a stronger, sweet scent when the night falls.

Second of all, it's pretty exciting to think about whether or not you are about to be caught ass-naked in the grass. And of course, that just makes it that much more fun. You hear the footsteps of those passing by, maybe a cough. You both stop and look up, wide-eyed, wondering if they can see you. Hopefully they don't, so you can just giggle and keep going. And if they do see you...well, you can just giggle and maybe run away? But it's all about the thrill! And I doubt they would step any closer!

Of course, if you're a bit more shy you can also try your very own backyard. It's still outside, and hey, maybe your neighbors will get a sneak peak. But it offers a bit more privacy then a park or beach.

For those of you who enjoy hiking, why not hit the trails, and veer off for a little fun in the forest. Of course, make sure there is no poison ivy where you choose to lay, and maybe bring a blanket to avoid bugs and sticks.

And you know, you don't always have to leave sex til after dark. If you're feeling extra frisky, sex in the great outdoors underneath the sun can also be fun if you're more willing to be caught. Of course, there are always ways to find hidden gems so you can play in peace.
Whatever you choose, be adventurous!

Music and sex practically go hand in hand. We've all heard it: Music leads to dancing, dancing leads to kissing, and kissing leads to sex. That's not always the case, but today, it definitely is.

Music choice can be very diverse in the bedroom, depending on the mood. There's always nights when you just want some slow jams, but of course it's fun to spice it up with something a bit more fun and fast-paced.

Exhibit A: Slow indie sex

This would be reserved for artists like The xx (I can practically hear the moaning when I listen to VCR), the acorn, and Air (I'm thinking the Virgin Suicides, so heavy...I recommend playground love). I also love Atlas Sound, Boards of Canada, Bahamas, Deerhunter, Explosions in the Sky, Horse Feathers, Great Lake Swimmers, Grizzly Bear, Sufjan Stevens, Radiohead and God is an Astronaut. Exhibit B: Living a little electro

A little faster for your sweaty nights spent in bed. I'm a huge fan of a little electro...or a lot. And for those who always love a little throw back, The Crystal Method always satisfies. Braving the fitting room line is an event in the life of a woman. Whether once a month or twice a year, the brief wait between shelf and body is a time of optimism. Test-driving a state of being wearing the creation of a designer, our over-the-shoulder glances and spins in front of the mirror are taken slowly. The wardrobe: admired, bought, tailored, taken back or worn to bits is an expression of everything inside the wearer. It reflects attitude, personality, and outlook. New pieces draped over parts of old statements paired with soft leather totes and J. Campbell-esque shoes loved for their similarity at a lower cost (because at this point, most of us aren’t able to indulge in the way we would like), and through the wrapping and placing of these pieces, we create ourselves.

Fashion is not so much followed as it is expressed. We tailgate our favourite designers and dog-ear the inspirational lines and cuts of anything structured, or patterned or daring. Through this mental logging of all things appealing, the wearer learns of their problematic inclination toward sequins (think: head to toe), or their inherent ability to pair metallics with broken-in Earth tones. Closing the door, lights from above, we put on the uniform of someone else for a few moments and turn slowly. Watch the colours clash or compliment. See the cloth hug or repel. A stern hand at hip and tilt of the head and for a little while, in that change room, we grant ourselves the time to contemplate exactly who we want to be.

Now that cottage season and lake-side tanning is here and we don't have to fear neverending rain, I feel a post on bathing suits is necessary. Bathing suit season is one of my least favourite as I have to stay covered (i.e. prance around a dock under an umbrella and lather on layers of sunscreen!). However, I love love love trying on new suits and here are my faves from lonely heart!

Since I am a consistent "white as paper" shade all summer, I love the idea of white suits to appear darker - and black suits to just completely accentuate the reflecting sunlight off my body.

Today I'm going to throw a little something out there that I feel is extremely important.

Wildfox Couture's spring/summer collection has me pretty excited. The LA-based company has themed their line around 1970s rock and roll, with styles paying homage to the groupies and fan girls of their time. Basically, it's Almost Famous in a collection and I want it all.

If I haven't talked about it before, I'm obsessed with 60s and 70s culture. I live for classic rock, swoon over Mick Jagger, and am constantly frustrated by the fact that I couldn't attend Woodstock. My obsession started with The Beatles (as it does for many) and quickly escalated. I devoured all the music and the literature I could from the era and developed a jealousy towards my parents youth. So when I see a collection like Wildfox's, it fits me perfectly. The outfits in this line make me want to jump in a yellow Volkswagen van and follow Led Zeppelin around America.

This Rolling Stones shirt is one of my favourites. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it in their Store on the website. I'm hoping it'll be available soon... I'd probably drop a good chunk of change for it.

Summer is wonderful for so many reasons. The warmth, the sunshine, the beach... It's also a great time to meet new people and perhaps spark a little summer romance here and there.

We've all heard the term "spring fling", but I think the summer fling sounds much better. Think of the hot months you can spend together, and then when its time to go back to the real world....you can let it go. Well, if you want to let those strings fall away. Summer is the craziest time of year so why not have someone to do crazy things with? The rules of the summer fling are simple :have fun, be carefree and most important understand that at the end of the day...it is commitment free!

When it comes to the summer fling, you should be aware that you can have several if you so please. Why date one person when you can explore the sea of the opposite sex?

So, how can the season of flings begin? Well, you might have to get your prowl on, but have no shame.

Perhaps your just looking for a pretty face? A long term relationship means you should be able to hold a decent conversation. But if that hot guy at the bar just isn't at your level...who cares? A few weeks of fun with a person you know you wouldn't want to be with forever just makes it even easier when play time is over.

If you're going on vacation this summer, you'll have the perfect opportunity to find an exotic friend to spend your days with. Foreign flings are great, but don't get too obsessed. After all, you have to get back on that plane eventually, and chances are, he's not coming with you. There's also a chance you could cross paths with another tourist looking for fun!

Flings to avoid...sex with the ex. No matter how tempting it might be, just don't do it. You've been there and done that so why put yourself through it all over again? Why re-open old wounds? When looking for a fling, we want someone new and fresh! Doesn't that sound much more exhilarating? I thought so.

Other than that, don't be afraid of regrets. Just erase the word from your vocabulary if you want to have a summer full of successful flings. Fun is what it's all about.

how to: rock headwear

Look, it's finally sunny enough to warrant those oversized shades we all love and to shed a layer (or two!) of clothing. But, as Sarah pointed out yesterday, we can't all love UV rays. I am of no exception, as I fry in the sun as soon as I step out into it. I can deal with putting sunscreen on my arms and other limbs, but the one place I stand my ground out is my face. It's not that I am welcoming a sunburn there - it's the greasy mess that happens with inevitable sweat in the sun or when I jump into a pool. Gross.

I have come up with solutions for this dilemna - and it's summer hats. We all need something light and airy to keep our faces looking like tomatoes and our scalps from peeling.

Thus, I propose a straw fedora. I rock mine, all the time, anywhere, when I know I'm going to be outside for longer than it takes to run from my car into a building.

I found the above picture on Lookbook, and it features the hat that has now become my mainstay. They're cheap, comfy and help hide your hair after it's hit with humidity.

If you see yourself lounging by the pool or lake this summer, class up your suit with a wide brimmed hat a la ISSA.

But maybe you are one of the lucky girls (for which I am eternally jealous!) that doesn't have to worry about a looming sunburn whenever you step outside your house. You are lucky and can wear the 'turban'. I wrote about this a while ago, but I keep seeing them pop up everywhere! Refinery29 does a great tutorial on how to one so it stays and doesn't look like a mess.

Just please don't hook your man into wearing the now famed 'murban'...

how to: look stylish with a sunburn

Since I can remember, I've had this strange problem where I seem to overestimate my skin's ability to tan. When those summer rays hit and my bikini flies on, I suddenly forget my 100% English/Irish heritage and mistake myself for someone who bronzes with the greatest of ease. I'm terrified of anything with an SPF over 30 (I just don't like being pale, okay) and keep my delicious smelling, coconuty tanning oil on hand at all times from June-August.
Now, I'm not an idiot. I'm aware of the risks and I know to protect myself- but sometimes I seem to forget that an SPF of 15, though it's protection, isn't exactly protection enough for my ghosty pale skin.

Yesterday, I may or may not have been a little too anxious to start my summer tan. It was a beautiful 25 degrees out, so as soon as I hopped out of bed I was in my bikini and in the backyard. I threw on some SPF15 and a bit of SPF8 oil (I mean, thats like, a whole SPF of 23 right??) and dozed off for 3 hours in the blissful sun.
And when I awoke, I was a beautiful shade of lobster red.
Damn it.

We've all been there, victims of a terrible and unattractive sunburn. Everyone makes mistakes (I swear, I've learned my lesson), and since sunburns can take up to a week or two to fade, we need to learn to deal. For example, tomorrow I have two very important meetings that I've already rescheduled once and cannot miss. I will be attending these meetings in a large amount of pain and looking like a freshly picked tomato.
So, considering my predicament, I thought it would be appropriate to write a post on how to dress stylishly/professionally with a terrible sunburn, yet feel comfortable and covered up at the same time.

First, lets be thankful that boho pieces are in this summer. Free flowing, long sleeved tops are my saviour when suffering from a burn. Not only do they breathe and cover me up, but they look great when paired with a nice pant or skirt.

Maxi dresses are key to covering a sunburn. This one below is from Zara, and not only covers up legs but also the chest area (notorious area for bad burns, and the most noticeable). It's professional enough to wear in a work atmosphere, but comfortable enough that it won't rub against your body (OUCH). If it's not too hot out, try pairing it with a jean jacket.

A pair of loose fitting hammer pants are extremely comfortable AND stylsih. They cover up your entire leg, but don't suffocate them, allowing for some airiness.

Remember, regardless of whether you care if people see your burn or not, it's key to cover up. Exposing an already bad sunburn to more sun isn't exactly the best way to heal it. And since it is hot out, I know covering up is frustrating. These suggestions should keep you looking wonderful yet comfortable in the heat, until that burn goes away and you can reach for the shorts again.

How to: cool down when things start to heat up...

Summer has obviously arrived if you didn't feel that wall of heat hit you these past few days! For those of you suffering without air condition, I feel your pain.

So now that the heat has arrived, I'm sure you don't want the heat in the bedroom to fade. Sweaty romps are fun and all but we could all use a few tricks to cool down while turning the heat up...you know what I mean?

Let's face it, sex can be sweaty. Slippery limbs all around and sweat everywhere could be a bit of a problem. So lets talk cooling down...while still keeping it hot in a different sort of way.

First of all...ice cubes. Take a few and rub them down each others backs, stomachs, legs and arms. It gives you a nice chill, and definitely wakes you up if you have the summer heat sleepy feeling.

Up next...the simplest solution, ever. Get a fan and place it beside your bed. Rotating fans are preferable. It will blow cool air all over your bodies, keeping the sweat at bay.

There is also the good old shower sex. Quite a task, but a good solution to sweaty situations. You could even just hop in before or after hitting the bedroom for a cool down.

Another delicious solution is to have some cool fruits like melon and berries at the bedside. Pop one into each others mouths every so often. Another fun bedroom food is ice cream, popsicles and the like. Maybe a bit sticky if things get out of hand, but cool none the less!

Today I ran into an old friend. We chatted casually about the standard things you talk about when you are awkwardly caught off guard: weather, how each of us has been, how school is, what program we're taking, how summers been, etc.
About 5 minutes into our conversation, I looked down and was immediately distracted by shiny, silver material that was hanging from her waist...
Shiny, lamé shorts.

This season, I've seen a lot of people sporting this peculiar look. No more is lamé confined to the spandex world of American Apparel, but it's gracing the shelves of mainstream stores like H&M and Zara, and showing up in the collections of designers such as Marc Jacobs. A beautiful pair of work shorts can now be purchased in a fabric that I worry may blind someone if the sun were to hit it at a certain angle.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not against lamé/shiny shorts. I think adding a shiny kick to your outfit is a great idea, and having a pair of these fun shorts will fit wonderfully into any summer wardrobe. However, I do believe there's a line you should be wary not to cross. Black or cream lamé shorts can look beautiful in the daytime, but I'd leave the silver and gold to the bar and club scene. And if you're going to sport the lamés in a professional environment, I suggest sticking to solid colours for your top and shoe. Your outfit will have a lot of kick without hinting that you're on your way to an 80's themed party at quitting time.

Now that the sun is finally shining and there is no rain in sight, I find it almost cruel to be thinking of pre-fall 2011 collections. However, I know I haven't posted in awhile (blame it on school, work, intern..) so I had to share this delicious collection from T by Alexander Wang.

The layered looks are lovely, and I'm loving the neutral palette of the collection

The maxi skirts are making me want to try it out again...

Talk dirty to me

If you watch porn, you've heard it to the extreme.

The art of dirty talk. Some are masters, while others shy away. If your sex life is silent maybe you should try saying a few things to spice things up. But we're not all Sasha Grey, so don't be afraid to start out small. Easing yourself into it might be better, especially for you shy ones out there.

So when you think of dirty talk, the dirtiest words probably come to mind. That's fine, because maybe one day you'll find the courage to use them! But those aren't the words you have to use. Some people can't handle being called a whore in the sack, so ask first.

Dirty talk doesn't have to stay in the bedroom, but for the most part it should.

But if you're out with your guy one night, don't be afraid to lean in and tell him how bad you want him. He'll be itching to go home, and won't be able to stop thinking about it the whole night.

Then when you reach the bedroom, it can really begin.

Lets start with the basics.

"Harder", "faster", and "yes". Not only is it simple, but it lets your partner know you like what they're doing. You can decide on the tone and inflection to use...and whisper it in his ear...

Even the natural way you moan during sex can add to the experience.

Then there are bedroom nicknames. They can range from something sweet and saucy, to a bit more extreme. You wouldn't call your girlfriend/boyfriend a dirty little ho anywhere else, but maybe that's what they like in bed.

And when you're really into the action, you can start throwing demands around. Tell him what you want, and where you want it. If you're into swearing, that works too. I'm sure you can think of a few right now!

Other things you could throw in the mix...

Let him know if you want it rough.

Tell him how you feel...and how he feels inside you. You could say something along the lines of "I love it when you [------]", "I want you to [------]". You get the idea. Just keep it simple. We can leave the heavy hitting to the pros. And besides, half the time the dirty porno talk can get annoying.

Basically, just blurt out what you're thinking. If it feels great then let him know!

Dirty talk isn't for everyone though, so do what feels comfortable. And if you are into it, remember that you don't have to talk dirty EVERY time you go at it. It's just a thought for when you're feeling extra playful and in a dirty mood. It doesn't have to be serious, so if you giggle after asking him to smack your ass, thats ok. Keep it light and fun.

how to: be short and rock a maxi

This season, floor length skirts are in full-demand and popping up more and more as the weather gets warmer. The idea of sporting a full-length skirt can be a bit intimidating, especially to shorter girls. I've never been too challenged in the height department, but I have short friends who gush about their love for the mass maxi trend but complain that they are "way too short" to wear a long skirt.

In my opinion, if worn properly, a maxi can work on anyone. Granted, its a bit easier to just throw on a long skirt and be on your way if you're say, 5'9, but if you really want to wear a maxi and you're not that tall, proper detailing goes a long way.

For starters, avoid busy patterns and designs. Opt for a solid colour (I vote black-but of course). It's more slimming and elongating.
Next, look for a high waisted maxi that can be paired with a crop top or tucked in shirt. Not only will wearing your maxi like this make your legs look longer, but it just looks good in general. One of my favourite ways to wear a long skirt.

And finally, wear the right shoe. Unfortunately, if you are short, wearing a floor-length skirt with flats won't get you anywhere. Pretty obvious. If you do want to sport the maxi, go for a pair of heels.

So, if you're 5 feet tall don't let it prevent you from trying new looks and wearing styles you like. If Mary-Kate can rock a maxi at 5'1, you can too.

let's start a riot

Regardless of ones style, I think it's always appropriate to own at least one piece of clothing that you walk around in thinking "yeah, I look badass today". When I wear pieces with a bit of an edge, I feel great. A major confidence booster.
This year an edgy, punk look is in full swing. Not only is studded detailing still huge, but chunky boots and coloured hair (hello dip-dyed tips) are all the rage. And while I've always considered it to be somewhat of a "hipster"--for lack of a better word--look, I've been noticing it more and more in the collections of even the classiest designers.

What are your thoughts?

winter kate

I think I'm a little obsessed with Nicole Richie right now. I'm really impressed with the newest clothing coming from her Winter Kate line. It doesn't look as 'celebrity' designer as her previous work, and I am eying a couple pieces for myself.

I love that she's stayed true to her boho style, but cleaned up the look by using minimal fringe and nice clean lines.

The seventies vibe in all the pieces is what really has me lusting over the clothes. Bell sleeves, loose shirts and large prints - perfect summer wear.

What do you think of Nicole Richie as a designer? Or celebrities who design clothing in general, I guess.

I think there is one thing that is way overlooked when most people shop - and it's an item that is so easy to pull off and so eyecatching. It's the little white dress.

Every woman has (or should have) their special LBD that can be thrown on for any occasion. What I like about the LWD is the shock factor. Marilyn Monroe wearing her now iconic white dress made headlines. Women don't wear white dresses as often as they should, and rocking one will have you turning heads and looking fresh this summer.

Mix it up by pairing with a neon purse or accessories. If you're looking for something more unique than a simple LWD, find one with lace insets or cutouts in the sleeves or waist.

I'm a huge advocate of buying things cheap, as long as they work for a season or two. I mean, who really knows how long our now-beloved crop tops or colour-blocked dresses will be in style for? However, there are some items where spending a little more of your hard earned cash will be worth it in the end. I think that right now is the best time to spend a little more, especially for students. We've all finished school and the first paycheques are rolling in. Pretend you don't have to start saving (yet!) and hit up your favourite boutiques to pick up these pieces!

1. Classic Black Bag

A couple of weeks ago, Sarah went shopping and sent me a text questioning her decision on buying a bag. She wondered if a black bag worked for summer/spring. I immediately told her that a black bag is an everyday kind of piece - the colour goes with everything and it's easy to throw on if you don't feel like thinking about which bag to use.

I would pick up an oversized black tote, such as the Alexander Wang one pictured. I know it's a little pricey, but it won't fall apart after a couple uses.

P.S. Can you tell how obsessed I am with this bag? I've posted it way too many times!

Factory Girl

I think I'm in love.
Today I stumbled upon Erik Hart's Pre Fall'11 Collection. Created by the self-proclaimed contemporary artist, this collection is part of Erik's 'Factory' line (very fitting).
It's amazing.
Factory Pre-Fall'11 is minimalist, structured, and basically right up my alley. So far up my alley, in fact, that I had trouble deciding which photos to take from the website to show you.

The designs in the Factory PF'11 line are simple, but manage to look badass and stunning at the same time. Erik uses only a few shades (black, white, beige, grey, and creams) but the fabric and cut choices add massive range to the collection. I'm sensing a bit of a Gaga inspiration here.

According to Erik Hart's website: "The range [in the collection] focuses on Hart’s signature aesthetic and design approach. An exercise in balancing the tension created between contrasts and duality. The dichotomy of androgyny and femininity, high and low, vulnerability and confidence, restraint and excess."

Too. Good.

The line sticks to it's name and "factory" theme, and I love the fact that while many pieces are similar, there are small features that make each unique. As I've been saying, I'm all about minimalism right now, so I definitely want to get my hands on something from this stunning collection.

Menage a trois

I've been hearing a lot of talk about threesomes lately it seems. Some of the stories have been good, and others...not so good. I'm always looking for something sexy to talk about, so I thought...why not blog about it?!

Threesomes aren't for everyone. You definitely need to be comfortable and confident with yourself and with your partner. If you hesitate at the thought...it's probably not for you. No worries, I'm not one for sharing, either...if you know what I mean.

And of course, make rules of what each of you can and cannot do. Jealousy should not be part of this experience, so don't be afraid to set boundaries. If there is something you would rather not happen between your guy and the extra who was invited, just let him know. Hopefully he will do the same and let you know what makes him uncomfortable. But it is only one night. Which reminds me, if you do it again, the third party probably should not be a repeat. No strings attached should be a top rule in there...which means one time only!

And of course...leave no man behind! This is a threesome after all. Make sure everyone is involved otherwise someone could feel rejected. So share the love! But obviously share more love with the one you'll be going out to dinner with the next day.

And finally, make sure the third party leaves when the fun is over. No cuddles in threes, okay? It's awkward and weird. Lets leave it at that.
